What is... Web Archiving

Where there is a constraint on server drive space, or when electronic information needs to be available over a wide geographical area, a web-based archiving system may be the answer.

Castle Document Management maintains a dedicated web server for client databases, giving the same functionality as a LAN server based system, but totally browser based. Users have a unique portal into the web site, with a user name and password for each application held on the site. Access can be routed through a company intranet if applicable. Documents can be viewed, printed or downloaded from the site, whilst Castle takes care of database maintenance and updating.
